Finding a high quality emerald cabochon is never an easy task, this one is the last I have from a small parcel of some really fine material i have had for a number of years. This particular emerald weighs 2.30 Carats and is cut into an oval cabochon that measures 8.98 x 6.94 x 5.31mm. The clarity on this is outstanding for a cabochon...very gemmy and nothing distracting to the eye. The color is green with a slight blue modifier. Comes accompanied with a GIA report that states Brazilian origin and F2 clarity enhancement which is moderate on the GIAs scale.
